While skimming Japan Today I noticed that for “safety country” their front page didn’t look much different than our own local horror story headlines.

Engineer arrested over murder of female bar owner in Saitama

Police arrested a civil engineer early Friday for allegedly killing a 65-year-old woman who owned a bar in the town of Sugito, Saitama Prefecture, last month. Eiki Sato, 45, is suspected of punching and strangling Kazuko Makiuchi between the night of May 10 and the morning of May 11 and robbed …

XNA meet my XBox 360, 360, XNA, XBL, 360, XNA, XBL… right lets get a drink..

March 31st, 2007

So I finally got around to connecting my XB360 to my network (thanks MS for the extra long network cable;) and I have to say (contrary to what I have read online of others experiences) getting it connected, signing up for XBLive and getting a Creators Club took about 10 minutes. Quick and smooth like butter mice. I am impressed.

So now I’m thinking that maybe I should squeeze the 5.2 seconds of free time I have and code up an entry for the Dream-Build-Play competition. 10K USD, a kick ass PC setup by Alienware, 3DS Max 9/XSI or Maya, and a ton of other stuff I could provide a very loving home for but just uploading some prototype stuff onto the ole XB360 last night and giving it whirl alone gave me the whoo-hoos, so theres fun to be had just creating some cool stuff.
